B2B telemarketing from people who have already been introduced
B2B telemarketing works when the person answering has a reason to keep listening. Lets Elevate's callers are UK-based, they work a list built to your ideal customer profile, and they call after your prospect has already read an email from you. That is the difference between an interruption and a follow-up, and it is why our conversations turn into qualified appointments rather than into call statistics.
What you get
-
A calling programme run by UK-based callers, in-house, not an offshore room
-
A target list built and enriched to the profile we agree with you, before the first call
-
An email sequence landing ahead of each call, so the call opens on your subject, not on your name
-
Conversations, not scripts - a caller who understands your proposition well enough to talk about the buyer's situation
-
Every opportunity qualified against the written criteria in our Quality Commitment before it reaches you
-
Reporting on conversations held, decision-makers reached and opportunities created - not on dials
Why we do not sell dials
An agency paid by the dial is paid for volume. An agency paid by the hour is paid for time. Neither is paid for the thing you actually want, which is a conversation with the right person that goes somewhere. We report on decision-maker conversations and qualified opportunities, and we are judged on what happens after the handover - which is why we publish the proportion of our appointments that went to proposal.
The evidence
On a twelve-month campaign for a UK technology business, structured telephone and email outreach to senior stakeholders produced 127 or more qualified appointments and £3.8m or more of sales pipeline. 72% of those appointments went to proposal. The prospects ranged from 100 to more than 20,000 employees, with turnover from £10m to more than £500m.
How it fits with the rest
Telemarketing is the second half of the Engage rung. The first half is the email, and the reason it matters is explained on /five-rungs/engage/. If you want the meeting as the deliverable rather than the conversation, that is appointment setting, on /lead-generation/b2b-appointment-setting/.
What a good call ends in
A qualified opportunity, defined your way. Before the campaign we agree the criteria - the company profile, the role, the need, the timescale, the agreed next step - and the caller qualifies against them on the call. Anything that falls short goes into follow-up, not into your diary.
FAQ
Questions
Is B2B telemarketing legal in the UK?
Yes. Business-to-business marketing calls are lawful under PECR, provided the number is not registered with the Corporate Telephone Preference Service and the caller identifies themselves and their company. Lets Elevate screens against the CTPS, and every caller identifies who they are and which business they are calling on behalf of.
Do your callers use a script?
No. Callers work from a briefing on your proposition and your buyer, and talk about the buyer's situation. A script is read at people; a conversation is had with them.
Where are your callers?
In the UK.
What do you report on?
Conversations held, decision-makers reached, opportunities qualified and booked, and what happened to each one after handover.
Can you call internationally?
Yes. Campaigns run into the UK and internationally.
